Dear Peter,
Delighted to learn that you show great interest in Teachers’ Day, I’m writing to share with you some details regarding it.
As is known to us all, showing respect for teachers is a tradition for us Chinese. Teachers’ Day falls on September 10th on which we’ll send best wishes and express our gratitude to our dear teachers for their hard work. When it comes to the gifts, some students give thank-you cards to their teachers, some would like to send them beautiful flowers, and others even prepare performances or give them handmade gifts. As far as I’m concerned, it is Teachers’ Day that gives us an opportunity to show our respect and love for our teachers, which is contributing to improving the relationship between teachers and students.
